Hi, my name is Abby Miller. I am a wife, a mother, a sister and a daughter. I am so in love with my sweet little family. My Husband Drew and I have been married for 6 years in August, the past 6 years have challenged me in every part of my life and I can honestly say that being married to Drew has made me a much better person. One of my favorite things in life is to laugh with Drew, he is one of the funniest people I know! Drew has taught me to be confident in myself and has showed me what it means to truly love someone, despite their “faults.” I am so proud of Drew, he is one of the smartest, hardworking man I have ever known. A month after we got married Drew started his Doctoral program to get his degree in Psychology. It has taken 5 LONG years but last year I don’t think I could have been prouder to watch him walk down the isle and get his degree!
After 3 years of marriage Drew and I welcomed a beautiful, sweet little girl Alivia. This little girl melted our hearts and changed out lives. Alivia is one of those kids that has always been a head of the ball game when it come to EVERYTHING she does. Sometimes I have to remind myself that she is ONLY 3… She is spunky, fun loving, knows what she wants, extremely hilarious and smart like her Daddy. Sometimes I think I should start a blog just for some of the things she comes up with.. I can’t get enough of that little girl that is FOR SURE!!
This past June we welcomed sweet little guy Jude into our lives. He, unlike his sister is very laid back and just goes with the flow. Seriously, we had him at a Doctor appointment and they were checking his eyes, pulling his eyelids back and he fell asleep… We all were in shock, but the poor guy was tired! Everyone always told me that a little boy would melt the Mamma heart and to be honest I never believed them, I figured a little girl is what all Moms want to play dress up and do hair and Dads love the boys to play sports and wrestle.. Oh Boy was I wrong! That little guy gets away with so much more than Alivia did even at the small age of 3 months! At this time Alivia was sleeping through the night and I worked so hard to get her there.. Jude…… yeah.. Not so much! I can’t wait to see what his personality will be like as he continues to grow!
What does all of this have to do with me being a photographer? Everything! I believe my passion for my family and my passion for life shows up in each one of my photos. I love meeting new families and seeing how different people interact and show their love for one another. I know what it’s like to have a toddler melt down in the middle of a session and completely understand if we have to take a break to snuggle with Mommy or eat some Goldfish! I feel so blessed to be able to capture what your life is like at that very moment, maybe it’s snuggling with that squishy little newborn or chasing after a crazy, active toddler. One of my favorite things has been watching two people declare their love for each other and then start a family of their own! Not once have a felt this is a job but rather a gift to be able to do something I absolutely LOVE. So Thank you for making that possible!
