Wilson Family | Cincinnati, Ohio Family and Child Photographer

Whew! This is the last session from my trip to Cincinnati and the last session I will post today. I have another session tonight so watch for that preview soon too! So just like her twin sister Amy, Amanda has been a fun and loyal client! I had the honor of flying all the way to Arizona to photograph Amanda and Dave’s wedding a couple years ago! Since then I have photographed their little Brea when she was 6 months and now their whole family!! I love, love, love watching families grow! Seriously, I can’t even begin to express what a blessing it is to see a couple get married and then come back to me for photos of their babies and family sessions. It’s such an honor! Once again the weather we just perfect, the scenery was spectacular and the subjects just gorgeous!!

Messmer Family | Cincinnati, Ohio Family and Child Photographer

While we were in Cincinnati I got to meet up with this sweet family! I think there were 16 of them all together, with lots of little ones all about 6 and under! We met in the beautiful Saywer park along with all the people that ran the race for the cure! Needless to say we had lots of spectators! I even ran into a girl I used to work with at the Real Estate office in Fort Wayne! How fun is that!? Oh and how fun is this all the baby girls are like 10 days apart! That will be so fun for them when they are a little older!

So just editing these photos bring a huge smile to my face and bring a tears to my eyes. Missy is one of my dearest friends, we have known each other since her son Calvin was 1 and now he is 13! We have been through so much though the years, we have worked together, started going to church together, basically became Christians together, cried, laughed ALOT, our weddings and kids! I’m totally not going to take ANY credit for Missy and Ben but I did kind of introduce them ;) I’ve known Ben even longer than Missy and that just seems crazy! I remember Ben from high school, driving around a white (I think white)  VW bug. We all thought Ben was SOOO Cool! Anyway, this summer after MANY years together finally got married!! whooohoo! I am so excited to be apart of their lives, and to walk along side them as they start a new phase in their lives! Although, I swear even hanging out on Saturday it feels like they have been together forever! So during the session I kept joking because Calvin looks older than 13 and so I had to be careful because when I posed them a certain way it looked like Missy was hanging out with her two men ;) lol  So the only person I didn’t share a little about is Calvin, I have to be careful because well he is 13 and I don’t want to embarrass him but seriously I have soo many funny stories about that guy! We used to call him Spiderman, he was seriously obsessed! One Easter we were on our way to church and we stopped at Wal-Mart before, Calvin found a pair or Spiderman water flippers (you know the kind for your feet) and it also came with goggles and flippers for your hands. Calvin HAD to have it, so Missy got him the set and in the car on the way he put it all on and when we got to church he didn’t want to take them off sooo little 4 year old Calvin wobbled into church in his Spiderman scuba gear! It was pretty Hilarious!

Love you guys!

My littles | Personal | Fort Wayne, IN Family and Child Photographer

I haven’t posted anything about my kiddos in a long time. That is because they don’t really like getting their photo taken.. AT ALL. I took them with me to a session last week (Drew too) and thought when I was done I would get some photos. Here is what happened. They both were mad that I was putting them on a chair together and then Jude head butted Alivia and then fell face first off the chair into a pile of weeds… yep that’s how it usually goes!

Alivia turned 4 last week, it’s really hard to believe that she is 4. It really does just seem like yesterday we were waiting for her to arrive. Now she is a cute little blondie with a spunky, free spirited personality.

Jude is now 16 months and just got his 1st pair of glasses. Last month we found out that his eyes are really bad, like REALLY, REALLY bad. It explains so much, like why he isn’t walking without holding on to something yet. He can’t see where he is going. He  has had his glasses for about 3 weeks now and is already making HUGE improvements and took his 1st steps last week! Anyway here are a couple of photos of my babies!

Meyer Family| Cincinnati Family and Baby Photographer

This weekend I was so excited to head out to Cincinnati with my little family because I had 4 sessions and then we planned to spend some fun family time together! On Friday my 1st session was with the Meyer Family, this family is especially important to me because Amy and Adam were some of my 1st clients. They were the 1st people to book a wedding we me (they ended up not being my 1st wedding, but 1st to book) I have done their engagement session, their wedding, their newborn session for little miss Ella and now their family session! How fun!!

When we got down to Cincinnati things didn’t quite go as planned, Jude was sounding pretty bad (he had been a little sick before we left) and by the time I got to the session he was struggling to breath. So after getting him out of the car and trying to see if he would improve he didn’t. SOOO after the session we headed to the nearest urgent and ended up spending Friday night in urgent care and also the ER at Children’s Hospital… yep, Jude’s 4th visit since he was born.. he is doing better now but still not great but they got him through the weekend. Not exactly the way I pictured the weekend going but we made it work and I did make it to the other 3 sessions I had around the city with out any hassle! So here is the 1st of 4 from the weekend. I Love this 1st photo because sweet miss Ella was trying to look around me to see her daddy :)

I’m not ever a HUGE fan of b&w because I LOOOVE color so much but on this one I can’t decide.. soooo I’ll post them both!

Weston 9 Months | Fort Wayne, IN baby and family photographer

You have seen him before, Mr. Weston is apart of my baby plan so I am lucky enough to see this little cutie every three months and lucky for you if you read this blog you get to see him too! Weston has been a dream to photograph, cute little smiles, beautiful eyes and the perfect amount of chubbiness! This is the 2nd time that we had a session scheduled and then had to change it because of the weather. This shouldn’t surprise me, we do live in Indiana but what does surprise me is when we rescheduled the weather ended up being PERRRRRFECT each time! After this session we even snuck a couple family photos with Weston and his sweet mommy and daddy :)

Carlile Family | Winona Lake, IN Family & Child Photographer

I can’t even begin to tell you what an honor it is to photograph this family. I met Tara WAY back when Tucker (her oldest) was just a little baby. We met in a bible study and I instantly fell in love with her. She is sweet, funny and a little spunky with a great big heart. A couple years later her and her family hired me to manage their bridal shop, my 2nd favorite (behind photography) job EVER! I LOVED working with Tara, her sister and her mom. When I worked at the bridal shop little miss Macy came along and now they have sweet little Will. I was so excited with Tara called me, not only to photograph them but to just catch back up with them! Thanks again guys for having me out, your kiddos are adorable and so are you! I hope you enjoy your preview!

Theil Family | Hicksville, Ohio Family Photographer

I once again got to photograph sweet little Zoey when they were back in Ohio but this time I got to also photograph her mommy, daddy, auntie and grandma and grandpa! When Erin suggested we do the session out at her parents house I wasn’t sure what to expect. You just never know, but this was my 4th session with them?!? (is that right?) so I trusted her! I’m SOOOOO glad I did, it was the most beautiful property I have ever seen! It was really a photographers dream. I wish I lived a little closer I think I would offer free photos for life to use it ;)

Joe senior | Fort Wayne, IN Senior Photographer

Meet Joe. I had the privilege of photographing Joe’s older sister Katie a couple years ago and was super excited when their mom emailed me about doing Joe’s session. She warned me that Joe wasn’t super excited about getting his photos taken BUT I think he did a fabulous job! We started downtown in one of my favorite areas and then headed to Shoaff Park to the baseball diamond where Joe has played for the last 3 years! Thanks for having me out guys, I really did have fun!!

Schoegler Family | Fort Wayne, IN Family Photographer

When I first talked with Heather I knew instantly I was going to like her! Our first interaction was when she was setting up a session for a co-worker that was just diagnosed with cancer and wanted to give her a family session. I got off the phone with her and cried. I cried because of the pure thoughtfulness that she had, if anything like that ever happened to me that would be one thing that would have such value to me, I also cried because my heart broke for the woman I would soon be photographing. Fast forward a couple months and Heather then asked me to to photographer her family. She had some great ideas for her session, including going to an AMAZING location with the orange couch! Yes, PLEASE!!

I LOOOOOOVE this next photo!!
