I’m a father of two little girls, which means I understand the beautiful chaos that comes with photographing children.

I know that asking little ones to sit still and smile isn’t realistic—and it’s never been the goal.

Children being children is where the magic lives. The giggles, the playfulness, the way they move through the world so freely—those moments exist only for a brief season, and then they’re gone.

You don’t need to worry about perfect poses. I’m more than ready to run, play, tumble, and laugh alongside your kids. I have the energy—and the heart—for it.

As a father, I see these fleeting moments every day with my own children. I understand which memories truly matter, and I photograph your family with that same care—preserving the moments you’ll want to remember, just as they are.

I cannot recommend Lavish photography enough! I had booked a dohl studio session for my youngest. Even though my kids were not very cooperative (youngest was crying a lot and the oldest couldn’t stay still), Dave was so patient and kind the entire time. The end result was amazing, and the photos came out beautifully. He really captured the precious moments amidst the chaos of a baby and a toddler in the session!
